Carmen & Dean I

On June 19, 2009, Carmen and Dean wed in a beautifully intimate outdoor ceremony in Waukesha.  The ceremony was customized just the way they wanted, and they were so lucky that the rain held off so they could get married in an ultra-cool gazebo as they had planned.  Enjoy the pictures from their special day!

P.S. - For some reason, the colors aren't showing up as brilliantly as they should.  I'll look into it and hopefully fix this post soon :)

Dean and his boys.  Of all the grooms I've worked with, Dean was one of the most calm, cool, and collected.  You could tell he was just excited to spend the rest of his life with the woman of his dreams :)

The two ringbearers took awhile to warm up, but then absolutely LOVED the camera.  You'll see a lot more of them in future posts!

Don't they look perfect together?

One of Carmen's bridesmaids, and the mom of the rambunctious ringbearers.  Thrilled about her new sister-in-law!

I actually don't know the story on this one, but I love that they're having a good time.  Isn't fun what weddings are all about?

Simply stunning.

Dean was pretty easy on Carmen for the bouquet toss spins...

Dean's mom wins!

Carmen's face = priceless.  Made even better by Dean's mom egging him on to get the garter with his teeth.

...Carmen wasn't quite so gentle spinning Dean!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Kohler!  Thanks for letting me be a part of your awesome day.  More posts on Dean and Carmen to come!

Ashley & Scott - The End (Or just the beginning...)

Here's the last posting for Ashley and Scott.  I wish them only happiness and love in their future together!

During the homily, the priest mentioned the first time he met this couple, Ashley told him they want 10 kids.  I couldn't tell if Scott was completely on-board with this idea...

I can't tell if I like this one better in color or black and white.  You decide.

Officially Mr. & Mrs. Thompson!

Not only beautiful, but tasty, too :)

I love that you can see the feelings they have for each other - SO happy about spending their life together.

He's always been (and always will be) Ashley's #1 fan...

She's got moves you've never seen!

Love is in the air... ;)
A final congratulations to Ashley and Scott!  I was honored to be a witness to your love for one another, and you threw a heck of a great party for all your guests :)  I wish you only years of happiness!

Hello, Kitchen!

I was playing with my camera in the kitchen, and actually ended up liking a few of the photos. Not sure why, but here are some randoms :)

The last of Ashley & Scott should be up tomorrow, and then new wedding pics after the weekend!

Ashley & Scott Continued

Without further ado, here they are again, Mr. & Mrs. Scott Thompson!

I always love when the groom cries.  And somehow Scott managed to look manly at the altar, even through his tears...

Beautiful bouquet.  All of the details for the wedding were just gorgeous.

Fr. Jim's homily was beautiful and heartfelt.  I caught the bride and groom laughing at one of his jokes, capturing the true essence of their wedding - celebration.

The wedding blessing after the exchanging of the vows.  It was amazing to see a church full of people who had come to support Ashley & Scott extending their hands to bless their future together.

The head table.  Before the dinner mess, of course :)

Stunning (and tasty!) cake with their new married monogram.

Look at that *bling*!

One of the many different centerpieces.  So unique!

Ashley and her dad.  She'll always be his princess :)

And Scott and his mom.  Its a beautiful thing, the way they're looking at each other.

I still have more photos to share of these two lovebirds - check back soon!

Ashley & Scott

This past weekend, one of my high school friends got married to her college sweetheart.  The ceremony was at St. Norbert, my alma mater, with the reception at the one and only Lambeau Field :)  Though it rained, they made their day gorgeous, and you can tell by the way they look at each other they'll be together forever.

So happy to see his bride.

Witnessing the vows.  Not too many dry eyes in the place!
The coolest unity candle I've ever seen.  Hands down.
Congratulations, Scott & Ashley Thompson!
With bright, beautiful, summer-y decorations like these, who cares about the weather outside?

So in love. <3

Congratulations, you two!  I'll share more pics from their beautiful day soon.
