Jean & Eric tied the knot!

Hey Everybody -
I'm back, and sorry for the hiatus! It seems I'm spreading myself a bit thin these days, so I haven't been able to devote as much time to editing as I'd like. But, here are some pics from my recent wedding with Jean & Eric. Both were super fun and laid back, and adventurous enough to try out some new shooting locations! Plus, their entire bridal party wore flip flops - even with tuxes (which if you know anything about me, you know flip flops are a sure fire way to my heart). Anyway, here's the first round from Jean & Eric - more to come soon!

I loved the hint of green in the bouquets :)

The best man. He tore his ACL at the crazy bachelor party, so he was on crutches all day. What a trooper!

The bubbles, the bubbles! (Anyone love Finding Nemo like I do?)

For some reason, these pictures always crack me up.

Ta Dah! The flip-flopped bridal party!

Love the way Eric's looking at his bride :)

Simply stunning. How do I end up with all of the gorgeous brides? Other photographers must be jealous... ;)

All you need is love.

I just love how naturally happy Jean is in all the candids I snuck. You can't fake this kind of bubbly excitement!

This one was an accident. But somehow, I like it.

(Cue the angel choirs...)

Jean and her "Best Lady." They decided being a "maid" isn't the greatest title - why not have a best lady?

Major props to the wedding party for being flexible enough to shoot up here - there were a few too many bugs excited to see us...

I couldn't choose which one I like better. You get two.

That's all for now, folks. A big congrats to Jean and Eric on a fabulously gorgeous wedding. Hopefully I'll be able to post more of them by the end of the week? No guarantees, but I'll try :) Until then...

Carmen & Dean

So I know I've been behind - I'm a shooting maniac, so it always takes me awhile to go through my pictures and choose my faves. I haven't posted about Carmen & Dean lately, but here are some more from their beautiful celebration!

Notice the bare feet :)

I love ceremonies with bubbles!

I think this guy does, too :)

This guy was a bundle of energy! We had lots of fun together taking mid-air jumping pictures.

Bella, molta bella.

Carmen was so easygoing. Makes my job so much easier :)

These guys made my night, especially the one holding the camera. I think he has a future in the biz!

Told ya. ;)

Lots of cute little ones to celebrate with Carmen & Dean!

Lyn & John are Married!

So I'm finally catching up on editing the pics from the last three weddings I've shot - here's the first post for Lyn and John! Their ceremony was at Frame Park in Waukesha - as I pulled up, I realized I had played here as a kid when my family lived in Waukesha :) The reception was at the Doubletree in downtown Milwaukee, an incredibly beautiful and elegant place. My favorite part, though, was how Lyn and John put so many personal touches on the day - from the real Hawaiian leis (gorgeous), to the personalized favors, to the slot machines and craps tables (John is from Vegas). It was such an honor to shoot a couple thats not only a ton of fun, but also very much in love!

Bright colors - every photographer's dream :)

One of the ushers - obviously, a very manly man :)

This was one of the most fun bridal parties I've worked with! It was incredibly hot and humid, but they still had a good time and were up for anything.

You gotta click and make this one bigger to get the full effect.

Lyn's sisters (below) were amazingly supportive.

The flower girl, Emily, was just adorable. I love the way she's looking at Lyn.

I'm sure this personality is what John fell in love with <3

The reception decorations were to die for - elegant and incredibly unique, with a touch of Lyn's Hawaiian heritage.

Beautiful and tasty cake.

The wedding party arranged all of their leis in heart shapes around the cake. So much love for Lyn & John!

Lyn's brother hand carved their gift card box - I couldn't believe this thing. Simply stunning!

The details make this dress. I could tell Lyn felt like a princess in it - absolutely gorgeous.

There you go - #1 for Lyn and John. I have so many more fun photos to share - its hard to choose which ones to post! Check back in a few days to see the latest :)
