Becky & Nate

I'm back! This weekend I had the pleasure of shooting Becky & Nate's special day. They were truly an amazing couple - clearly crazy about each other, and so incredibly easy to work with. Plus, they were a good-lookin' couple, which makes my job that much easier ;)

I took a lot of pictures throughout the day, but these are my experiment with a new camera. I shot the reception with my standard Nikon D90, but also added a Nikon D700 and shot only with available light. If you've ever been to a reception, you know it can get pretty dark in there, so this was definitely a fun challenge! Because I didn't use a flash, I captured the effect of the DJ's lights and got some cool, blurry motion shots. Its definitely different from what I've been doing, but I think these add a special kind of interest to Becky & Nate's celebration.

The regular shots will come soon, but until then, let me know what you think of my experiment!

Beautiful fall theme. Unfortunately, the fall weather was freezing. Stay tuned for the pics outside...

Pretty centerpieces. Prettier bling.

The toasts at this wedding were some of the best I've ever heard. Maybe I should have taken notes...

Makes my heart smile. <3

Yup, she was a stunner.

Love Nate's expression!

Another happy couple. MAN this girl could dance!

Yes, the dance floor was this packed. All night long.

I love the guy in the background, beer in hand, cheering him on. :)

Happy bridesmaids. Another super fun bridal party!

The bride's parents. <3

See? Told you everyone was dancing.

Happy bride makes me happy.

Just look at the way she's looking at him. You can tell they have a long and happy life together!

A major congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Winkels! I know they have a great together ahead of them.

More to come from me soon! Until then...

Jean & Eric: Numero Due

I have so many images from Jean & Eric, its hard to choose my favorites! Without further ado, here's another post from their big day :)

This one almost makes me tear up.

Signing the marriage license. Excited it's official!

I love Jean's expression.

A great example of lasting love - Jean's grandparents. You can tell from that look, he's still crazy about her.

This little cutie stole my heart...

...But she didn't really want to sit through the ceremony ;)

The details were simple, yet fantastic. Pink and brown everywhere!

A champagne toast coming up!

Look at the sweetness in his eyes...

...and in hers!

Can't get over her beauty. Seriously can't.

What a beautiful Best Lady :)

Jean's mom couldn't be prouder of her daughter.
There's at least one more post coming for Eric and Jean, so stay tuned! Until then...
