Kalla and Ross - Numero Due

Again, I've been missing from the blog scene for awhile - my apologies! I've been super busy (I know, its no excuse) and the days have just flown by. I did want to share more images from Kalla & Ross' wedding, though - I had so much fun shooting it! Without further ado, here are more pictures from their super fabulous day!

As a graphic designer, Ross added a ton of special touches to the day. Here are their homemade programs - perfetto!

Kalla and Ross, Part 1

The best part of my job is getting to meet beautiful brides, fabulous grooms, and superfun wedding parties I just can't get enough of. Kalla and Ross' celebration was no exception! Though I technically knew Ross before the wedding because we worked together in Milwaukee, the wedding day was the first time I'd ever met his bride, Kalla. What a treat! Such a sweetheart, and so incredibly easygoing - Ross is a lucky guy. Lets be serious, not every bride would be so upbeat if it rained on her wedding day! Here are some of the first images I captured of their wedding - plenty more to come in the next few days - especially some fun ones of the bridal party getting down on the dance floor :)

These girls were such troopers - Kalla surrounded herself with wonderful ladies!

What to do in Wisconsin when it rains on your wedding day? Drink beer, of course! Love the name of the bar, too - "Hogs and Kisses!"

Sneak Peek - Kalla and Ross

Ah, the beginning of wedding season (which, in Wisconsin, coincides with summer, yippee)! I'm so looking forward to all of my weddings, but I was especially excited to shoot Ross and Kalla's special day. I used to work with Ross in Milwaukee, and hadn't met his bride-to-be, but heard all sorts of great things about Kalla. She sure was a sweetheart!

Another adorable couple, another fun wedding party - a photographer couldn't ask for more! Kalla and Ross are currently on their honeymoon, so the official blog post will have to wait. But, I just had to share one image - one of my favorites so far :)

Lindy & Brian II

Hi again everyone -

Wow, has it been a whirlwind of a few weeks! I've been making time to edit Lindy and Brian's special day between packing, packing, and more packing. This is finally the weekend we're moving to Wausau, so needless to say, I got their images done in just the nick of time. I'm still CRAZY about how beautiful their wedding was - can't wait to share more images with you!

The reception was at the Peking House in Wausau, a beautiful Chinese restaurant. Lindy's sister, Katie, made these adorable favors - perfect for a Chinese reception!

Chances are, I'll be MIA from the blog scene for a bit - with the move, and settling into our new place, I'm sure I'll have plenty to keep myself busy.
