Kalla and Ross, Part 1

The best part of my job is getting to meet beautiful brides, fabulous grooms, and superfun wedding parties I just can't get enough of. Kalla and Ross' celebration was no exception! Though I technically knew Ross before the wedding because we worked together in Milwaukee, the wedding day was the first time I'd ever met his bride, Kalla. What a treat! Such a sweetheart, and so incredibly easygoing - Ross is a lucky guy. Lets be serious, not every bride would be so upbeat if it rained on her wedding day! Here are some of the first images I captured of their wedding - plenty more to come in the next few days - especially some fun ones of the bridal party getting down on the dance floor :)

What to do in Wisconsin when it rains on your wedding day? Drink beer, of course! Love the name of the bar, too - "Hogs and Kisses!"

Sneak Peek - Kalla and Ross

Ah, the beginning of wedding season (which, in Wisconsin, coincides with summer, yippee)! I'm so looking forward to all of my weddings, but I was especially excited to shoot Ross and Kalla's special day. I used to work with Ross in Milwaukee, and hadn't met his bride-to-be, but heard all sorts of great things about Kalla. She sure was a sweetheart!

Another adorable couple, another fun wedding party - a photographer couldn't ask for more! Kalla and Ross are currently on their honeymoon, so the official blog post will have to wait. But, I just had to share one image - one of my favorites so far :)
